SureFire E2T-MV TACTICIAN Flashlight - Black

Perfect for the pocket, smaller and thinner than a king size sharpie with a max 800 lumens. Use it every day on a limited basis and I love the old style temporary on off button and hand tighten for permanent on. Neat little lanyard too. Slightly disappointed that I didn’t get a spare pair of batteries (which came with some earlier packaging) but still made up with it.

This is the second surefire I've owned. The Tactician is great and produces more of a white floody light as opposed to a more direct spot. Very well built as you'd expect from Surefire and very bright at 800 lumens. (Bright enough never mind these 4000 lumen "Turbo runs for 3 seconds" things you keep seeing) This can also run on a 16650 rechargeable battery but at a slightly reduced output if you choose. Very compact light so easy to pocket although the single direction, bezel up clip is the only let down for me. Yes Surefire's are expensive especially in the UK but they have none of the nonsense multi mode, strobe, beacon settings and do the simple task of simply delivering blinding light on demand extremely reliably. Buy yourself one.
