Warranty Information

1. Manufacturer Warranty Only

All products sold by Xtreme Tactical are covered exclusively by the original manufacturer’s warranty, where applicable.

Xtreme Tactical does not provide, offer, manage, or assume responsibility for any product warranties, except where required by law.

Warranty coverage, duration, eligibility, and remedies are determined solely by the manufacturer and may vary by brand and product.

2. Role of Xtreme Tactical (Important)

Xtreme Tactical acts only as a retailer of genuine products.

We do not:

  • Approve or deny warranty claims
  • Repair or replace products under warranty
  • Cover warranty-related costs
  • Guarantee warranty outcomes
  • Override manufacturer decisions

All warranty claims remain the sole responsibility of the manufacturer.

3. Warranty Claim Assistance (Facilitation Only)

At our discretion, Xtreme Tactical may assist in facilitating communication with the manufacturer (such as providing contact details or forwarding information).

⚠️ Important:

Any facilitation provided by Xtreme Tactical:

  • Does not make us a party to the warranty
  • Does not transfer warranty responsibility to us
  • Does not obligate us to cover any associated costs

4. Customer Responsibility for All Costs

The customer is solely responsible for all costs associated with warranty claims, including but not limited to:

  • Shipping costs to and from the manufacturer
  • Inspection or handling fees
  • Customs duties, tariffs, VAT, import/export taxes
  • Brokerage or clearance fees
  • Replacement shipping costs (if applicable)

Xtreme Tactical will not reimburse or absorb any warranty-related expenses, regardless of claim outcome.

5. How to File a Warranty Claim

Warranty claims must be initiated directly with the manufacturer.

Most manufacturers will require:

  • Proof of purchase (order confirmation or invoice)
  • Product serial number or SKU
  • Description of the issue

We strongly recommend registering your product with the manufacturer immediately after purchase.

6. What Is Typically Not Covered

Manufacturer warranties generally do not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Cosmetic damage
  • Improper use, installation, or maintenance
  • Modifications or unauthorised repairs
  • Accidental damage, misuse, or neglect
  • Environmental or water damage unless explicitly stated

Warranty approval or rejection is entirely at the manufacturer’s discretion.

7. UK Consumer Rights (Legal Clarification)

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Under UK law:

  • Products must be as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality at the time of delivery.

Where a fault is determined to be:

  • Present at delivery → statutory rights may apply
  • Manufacturer-related or post-delivery → the issue must be resolved under the manufacturer’s warranty directly

8. Warranty vs Returns

Warranty claims are not returns.

  • Warranty issues relate to manufacturer coverage
  • Returns are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy
  • Warranty claims do not entitle the customer to a refund or chargeback

9. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

By completing a purchase with Xtreme Tactical, the customer acknowledges that:

  • Warranty obligations rest with the manufacturer
  • Xtreme Tactical is not liable for warranty outcomes
  • Warranty claims do not constitute non-delivery or misrepresentation
  • Warranty-related chargebacks may be challenged using this policy

This policy is used as supporting evidence in Shopify Payments and card disputes.
