Externally, these locking turrets feature a high speed return to zero, ensuring that once your zero is set you won't have to worry about bumps or the environment making unintended changes to your turrets. The return to zero feature allows shooters to rapidly return to their elevation to 'Zero' after dialing out for long-range engagements without having to keep track of the adjustments you made to get out there in the first place. A terrific well engineered piece of optical equipment and exceptional value. Crystal clear glass and a sturdy design. Positive windage and elevation turrets. The Zero stop setting was a doddle to use. I replaced a NightForce NXS for it and I reckon the Athlon is a superior scope. My shooting mate tried it and agreed with me. He also owns and shoots a Nightforce but now prefers my Athlon. it was like Christmas when I opened the box. Supplied with flip up lens covers, sunshade, throw lever and 3 spare grub screws for the zero stop setting plate. A nice additional surprise. It came reasonably quickly and was well worth the wait.
