The Trijicon RMR Type 2 Automatic LED Reflex Sight is a compact reflex optic designed for pistols, rifles, and shotguns where durability and reliability are critical. The RMR housing is engineered with Trijicon’s patented shape to deflect impacts away from the lens, increasing durability under heavy recoil and demanding operational use.

The RM01 configuration features a 3.25 MOA red dot reticle, providing a balance between rapid target acquisition and precision aiming at distance. Automatic brightness adjustment uses ambient light sensors to regulate reticle intensity without manual controls, ensuring the aiming point remains visible in varying lighting conditions.

Constructed from forged aluminum, the RMR Type 2 is waterproof, shock resistant, and optimized for slide-mounted pistol use as well as carbine or shotgun applications. The optic uses a single CR2032 battery and maintains extended runtime while preserving consistent reticle brightness.

Really pleased with this and yet again impressed by what Holosun have done, the dot works with my astigmatism and the huge shipping container sized site works well for me, the only minor and I mean minor, gripe is the weight. Makes the smaller AEMs probably the better pick for most, I have both from Xtreme - customer service has been superb, highly recommended.
