Xtreme Tactical Warranty & DOA Policy

Manufacturer Warranty Only

All products sold by Xtreme Tactical Ltd are covered exclusively by the original manufacturer’s warranty, where applicable.

Xtreme Tactical Ltd does not provide, offer, or manage product warranties, except where required by applicable law.

Warranty coverage, duration, eligibility, and remedies are determined solely by the manufacturer and may vary by brand and product.

Dead on Arrival (DOA) – 48 Hour Notification

Items that arrive faulty or non-functional upon delivery must be reported within 48 hours of receipt.

To report a DOA item, you must contact support@xtremetactical.co.uk and provide:

  • Order number
  • A clear description of the issue
  • Photo and/or video evidence of the fault
  • Product serial number (where applicable)

This timeframe allows us to assess the issue as a potential transit or immediate fault case and determine the appropriate resolution.

If a DOA claim is validated, Xtreme Tactical Ltd may, at its discretion:

  • Offer a replacement (subject to availability), or
  • Provide a refund

DOA Conditions

  • Items must not be used, installed, or modified prior to reporting the issue
  • All original packaging, accessories, and contents must be retained
  • Failure to report within 48 hours may result in the issue being handled under the manufacturer’s warranty

This clause does not affect your statutory rights.

Role of Xtreme Tactical

Xtreme Tactical Ltd acts solely as a retailer of genuine products.

We do not:

  • Approve or deny warranty claims
  • Repair or replace products under warranty
  • Cover warranty-related costs
  • Guarantee warranty outcomes
  • Override manufacturer decisions

All warranty claims remain the sole responsibility of the manufacturer.

Warranty Claim Assistance (Facilitation Only)

At our discretion, we may assist by facilitating communication with the manufacturer.

Any assistance provided:

  • Does not make Xtreme Tactical Ltd a party to the warranty
  • Does not transfer warranty responsibility to us
  • Does not obligate us to cover any associated costs

Customer Responsibility for Costs

The customer is solely responsible for all costs associated with warranty claims, including:

  • Shipping to and from the manufacturer
  • Inspection or handling fees
  • Customs duties, VAT, and import/export charges
  • Brokerage or clearance fees
  • Replacement shipping costs

Xtreme Tactical Ltd will not reimburse any warranty-related expenses.

How to File a Warranty Claim

Warranty claims must be submitted directly to the manufacturer.

Manufacturers typically require:

  • Proof of purchase
  • Product serial number or SKU
  • Description of the issue

We recommend registering your product with the manufacturer after purchase.

What Is Typically Not Covered

Manufacturer warranties generally do not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Cosmetic damage
  • Improper installation or use
  • Modifications or unauthorised repairs
  • Accidental damage, misuse, or neglect
  • Environmental or water damage unless stated

Warranty approval is determined solely by the manufacturer.

UK Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Under UK law:

  • Products must be as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality
  • If a fault is present at delivery, your statutory rights apply
  • Manufacturer warranty applies to faults arising after delivery

Warranty vs Returns

Warranty claims are separate from returns.

  • Warranty issues are handled by the manufacturer
  • Returns are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy

Warranty claims do not entitle the customer to a refund outside of statutory rights.

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that:

  • Warranty obligations rest with the manufacturer
  • Xtreme Tactical Ltd is not responsible for warranty outcomes
  • Warranty claims do not constitute non-delivery or misrepresentation

Any chargebacks relating to warranty claims may be disputed using this policy.
