Trijicon’s VCOG 1-8x28mm Riflescope was developed at the request of the United States Marine Corps, who needed a Squad Common Optic (SCO) that excelled at both close quarter battle and long distance marksmanship. This first focal plane optic is the commercial version of the USMC’s SCO, and provides more magnification and a brighter sight-picture than its predecessors.
