The SIG Sauer ROMEO-M17 Red Dot Sight is a purpose-built enclosed pistol optic designed exclusively for compatible SIG Sauer M17/M18 military issue, surplus, and commemorative pistols using the MHS slide configuration. Built with a sealed and gas-purged enclosed optical system, a rugged 7075 aluminium housing, and SIG’s proprietary SIG-LOC bottom-mount interface, the ROMEO-M17 delivers a secure, low-profile optic solution for compatible M17/M18 platforms. SIG states that this optic does not fit standard commercial P320 slides.

Designed for fast target acquisition and hard-use reliability, the ROMEO-M17 features a selectable 2 MOA red dot / 32 MOA red circle reticle system, allowing the user to run the dot only, circle only, or circle-dot combination. The optic includes 15 brightness settings, with 12 daylight and 3 night vision-compatible settings, along with MOTAC motion activation, MAGNETAC magnetic activation, D.A.R.C. coatings, and a side-mounted CR2032 battery compartment for battery changes without removing the optic.

The low deck height is designed to support a full sight picture and co-witness with standard-height sights on compatible M17/M18 pistols, while the integrated loaded chamber indicator gas deflector, rear anti-reflection grooves, drain port, and IPX8 water resistance make this one of SIG Sauer’s most specialised enclosed pistol red dot sights.

Compatibility Note: This optic is designed for SIG Sauer M17/M18 military issue, surplus, and commemorative pistols with the correct MHS single-screw slide configuration. It does not fit standard commercial P320 slides.
