The Burris Fullfield E1 3-9x40 Rifle Scope is a second-focal-plane rifle scope with a Ballistic Plex reticle. This is the Shotgun version — Burris calibrates the holdover points for shotgun trajectories, and the parallax is set at a fixed 50 yards to suit the ranges those loads are shot at.
The Ballistic Plex reticle gives trajectory-compensating holdover points below the crosshair, so you can hold for distance rather than dial. Waterproof and nitrogen-filled to prevent internal fogging, with a double internal spring-tension system that holds zero through shock, recoil and vibration. Backed by the Burris Signature Warranty.

UK Delivery & Support
UK-stocked and dispatched tracked from our UK warehouse — no import duties or customs delays. Backed by UK-based aftersales support and the Burris Signature Warranty (formerly the Forever Warranty; the name changed in December 2025, the lifetime cover did not). International warranty claims are handled through us as your retailer, so you deal with a UK company rather than shipping to the US.
Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between the Shotgun and Muzzleloader versions?
Optically nothing — both are 3-9x40 with a Ballistic Plex reticle. The difference is the holdover calibration: Burris matches the reticle's holdover points to shotgun trajectories on this model.
Is the reticle illuminated?
No. The Ballistic Plex on this scope is not illuminated.
What is the parallax set to?
Fixed at 50 yards, which suits the ranges shotgun loads are typically shot at.
Is it first or second focal plane?
Second (rear) focal plane.
