The Holosun SCS VP9 Green Dot Sight (SCS-VP9-GR) is a 1x enclosed pistol green dot sight that direct-mounts to H&K VP9 optics-ready slides with no adapter plate, powered by an internal rechargeable cell charged by ambient light. It carries the Multi-Reticle System — a 2 MOA green dot, a 32 MOA circle, or both together as a circle-dot.
The Solar Charging Sight system is what makes it different from a conventional pistol optic: there is no battery tray at all, because the internal rechargeable cell is topped up by light. Brightness is fully automatic, and the emitter sits behind a sealed window that keeps dust, lint and rain from reaching the LED — the failure that most often dims an open-emitter dot.
