The EOTech Vudu 4-12x36 MD5 Rifle Scope with EFLX Red Dot Sight is a two-optic package: the first focal plane Vudu 4-12x36 with the illuminated MD5 MRAD reticle over 0.1 MRAD turrets, plus an EFLX 3 MOA red dot on an offset mount.
A 4-12x scope is deliberately too much magnification for a close target, which is the gap the offset dot fills: roll the rifle to the side and the EFLX gives you a 1x aiming point, then roll back for the precise shot.
