The Holosun RONIN HS507COMP Red Dot Sight (RONIN-HS507COMP-RD) is a 1x open reflex competition pistol red dot sight on the Trijicon RMR footprint, with the Competition Reticle System — a 2 MOA red dot, an 8 MOA circle, a 20 MOA circle and combinations of them — behind a large competition window.
Developed with Tu Lam of Ronin Tactics, it is the 507COMP's large window and switchable competition reticle in refined Ronin trim. The reticle is chosen to suit the stage rather than fixed at purchase: a 2 MOA dot for a tight standard, a circle when the targets are close and the clock decides the result. It runs from a CR1632 with Solar Failsafe and Shake Awake.
How It Compares
The green Ronin version is the RONIN HE507COMP green dot sight. The standard-trim equivalent is the HS507COMP red dot sight. For a single fixed aiming point in the same body, the HS407COMP red dot sight with the 6 MOA dot is the cleanest sight picture, and the HS507 ProMax red dot sight adds a larger window and an integrated sunshade. Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Competition Reticle System on the Holosun RONIN HS507COMP?
The Competition Reticle System on the Holosun RONIN HS507COMP Red Dot Sight offers a 2 MOA red dot, an 8 MOA circle, a 20 MOA circle and combinations of them, selected on the optic so the reticle can be matched to the stage being shot.
Is the Holosun RONIN HS507COMP an RMR or an RMSc footprint optic?
The Holosun RONIN HS507COMP uses the Trijicon RMR footprint, so it mounts to slides cut for an RMR and to optics-ready pistols supplied with an RMR-pattern adapter plate.
What battery does the Holosun RONIN HS507COMP use?
The Holosun RONIN HS507COMP runs from a CR1632 cell, with Solar Failsafe supplementing it from ambient light and Shake Awake sleeping the reticle when the pistol has been still.
How is the RONIN HS507COMP different from the standard HS507COMP?
The Holosun RONIN HS507COMP is the Ronin Tactics collaboration trim, developed with Tu Lam, of the same large-window competition optic. Both use the Competition Reticle System on the Trijicon RMR footprint with a CR1632 cell.
Who is the RONIN HS507COMP designed with?
The Holosun RONIN HS507COMP was developed in collaboration with Tu Lam of Ronin Tactics, which is what the RONIN designation on the model denotes.
