Frequently Asked Questions

G33 or G45?
The G33 is a 3x magnifier that keeps a wide field of view for general use out to about 200 m (220 yd); the G45 is 5x, which helps positively identify a target further out at the cost of a narrower view. Our 3x vs 5x vs 6x comparison covers the trade-off.

Do I need the STS mount?
Only if you do not already have one. The STS versions include the quick-detach flip-to-side mount; the No Mount versions are the magnifier body alone.

Does a magnifier help with fox and vermin control?
