Description

The Atlas Bipod BT69-NC CAL Tall No Clamp, part number BT69-NC from B&T Industries, is the tall-leg CAL (Cant And Loc) Atlas bipod supplied with no clamp fitted. Its 1.100 inch (27.9 mm) two-hole pattern with 10/32 threads accepts the BT19 Accuracy International spigot, the BT70 M-LOK adaptor or any 17S-size lever mount such as the ADM-170-S.

How It Compares

"NC" means No Clamp. The BT69 CAL Tall with the two-screw Picatinny clamp and the BT69-LW17 CAL Tall with the ADM-170-S lever arrive with a mount already fitted. At standard height, the Atlas BT65-NC CAL bipod shares this exact mounting pattern with shorter legs. The mount can be changed later with the BT6569ML CAL upgrade mount. Compare the family in our Atlas bipod range and the wider UK rifle bipod selection.

Ideal For

  • Hill and woodland stalking over heather, bracken and long grass
  • Accuracy International rifles running the factory spigot forend
  • M-LOK handguards, bolting straight into a rail slot with the BT70 adaptor
  • Long-range and PRS-style shooters fitting an ARCA or lever clamp of their own

Frequently Asked Questions

Which mount does the Atlas BT69-NC need?
The Atlas BT69-NC is supplied with no clamp, so it needs a mount bought separately: the BT19 Accuracy International spigot, the BT70 M-LOK adaptor, or any 17S-size lever clamp such as the American Defense ADM-170-S.

Does the Atlas BT69-NC clamp directly to a Picatinny rail?
No — the BT69-NC has no clamp of its own and cannot attach to a Picatinny rail until a 17S-size mount is bolted to it; if you want it ready to use, choose the BT69 with the two-screw clamp or the BT69-LW17 with the ADM-170-S lever.

What is the mounting hole pattern on the Atlas BT69-NC?
The BT69-NC uses a 1.100 inch (27.9 mm) two-hole pattern with 10/32 threads, which is the 17S size, so any 17S-size mount will bolt straight to it.

What is the difference between the Atlas BT69-NC and the BT65-NC?
They share the same CAL build and the same no-clamp mounting pattern, and the difference is leg length: the BT69-NC is the Tall version with longer legs, and the BT65-NC is the standard height.

Can the Atlas BT69-NC be made ARCA compatible?
No Atlas bipod in this range is natively ARCA-Swiss, but the BT69-NC is straightforward to convert because it is supplied clamp-free — fit an ARCA clamp such as the Area 419 ARCALOCK clamp for Atlas bipods from our ARCA bipods and clamps collection.

What is in the box?
The box contains one Atlas BT69-NC CAL Tall bipod with no clamp fitted, plus the 10-32 flat socket mount installation screws.

great product, great customer service

The purchased product is a Nightforce ATACR 7-35x56. The waiting times were a bit long, as for many other products imported from the USA, and therefore not dependent on Xtreme Tactical who always updated me on the status of the shipment (thank you George). The product has a high cost but adequate to the characteristics of the Nightforce brand, the price paid slightly lower than the Italian one. Nightforce, is always a point of reference in the panorama of high quality optics. Very satisfied, too bad that with Brexit things are getting very complicated for Europeans.
