The Atlas Bipod BT69 CAL Tall, part number BT69 from B&T Industries, is the tall-leg CAL (Cant And Loc) Atlas bipod supplied with the two-screw MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny clamp already fitted. The longer legs lift the rifle clear of cover and vegetation, and the CAL mechanism locks the cant positively so the rifle stays where you level it.
How It Compares
The BT69 is the Tall CAL; the BT65 CAL at standard height is the same bipod with shorter legs. Within the BT69 family only the mount changes: the BT69-LW17 CAL Tall with the ADM-170-S quick-detach lever comes off in seconds, and the BT69-NC CAL Tall supplied with no clamp takes a 17S-size mount of your own. The tall PSR alternative, which pans freely, is the Atlas BT47-NC PSR Tall bipod. See them together in our Atlas bipod range.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which mount does the Atlas BT69 CAL Tall need?
The Atlas BT69 needs no separate mount, because the two-screw MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny clamp is supplied already fitted; the rifle simply needs a Picatinny rail section for it to bolt onto.
What is the difference between the Atlas BT69 and the BT65?
They are the same CAL bipod build with the same mounting pattern, and the difference is leg length: the BT69 is the Tall version with longer legs for extra ground clearance, and the BT65 is the standard height.
What does CAL stand for on an Atlas bipod?
CAL stands for Cant And Loc, B&T's name for positive, lockable cant control that keeps the rifle level on uneven ground.
Which pouch fits the Atlas BT69 CAL Tall?
The BT30 tall Atlas bipod pouch is the one to choose, because it is cut to take both standard and tall height V8, PSR and CAL bipods.
Which feet fit the Atlas BT69 CAL Tall bipod?
It takes the V8, PSR and CAL pattern Atlas quick-change feet — BT32 standard rubber feet, BT23 quick-change ski feet and BT74 Raider stainless steel cleat feet — each sold as a pair and listed in our bipod accessories.
