Frequently Asked Questions

1-6x or 1-10x?
A 1-6x is shorter, lighter and faster at the close firing points. A 1-10x buys reach at 300 to 600 yards at the cost of a longer body and more weight over the receiver.

FFP or SFP?
First focal plane keeps the reticle subtensions correct at every magnification, which matters if you range or hold off with the reticle. Second focal plane keeps the reticle the same apparent size and is usually cleaner at 1x.

What mount does a Vudu need?
The LPVOs use a 34 mm tube, so they need 34 mm rings or a one-piece cantilever on a Picatinny rail — see rifle scope mounts.
