The Atlas Bipod BT65-NC CAL No Clamp, part number BT65-NC from B&T Industries, is the standard-height CAL (Cant And Loc) Atlas bipod supplied with no clamp fitted. Its 1.100 inch (27.9 mm) two-hole pattern with 10/32 threads accepts the BT19 Accuracy International spigot, the BT70 M-LOK adaptor or any 17S-size lever mount such as the ADM-170-S.
How It Compares
"NC" means No Clamp, and it is the only difference here: the BT65 CAL with the two-screw Picatinny clamp and the BT65-LW17 CAL with the ADM-170-S lever both arrive with a mount fitted. For longer legs on the same pattern, see the Atlas BT69-NC CAL Tall bipod. The mount itself can be changed later with the BT6569ML CAL upgrade mount. The whole family is in our Atlas bipod range.
Ideal For
- Accuracy International rifles running the factory spigot forend
- M-LOK handguards, bolting straight into a rail slot with the BT70 adaptor
- Long-range and PRS-style shooters fitting an ARCA or lever clamp of their own
- Hill stalking and steep ground, where locked cant is worth more than free panning

Frequently Asked Questions
Which mount does the Atlas BT65-NC need?
The Atlas BT65-NC is supplied with no clamp, so it needs a mount bought separately: the BT19 Accuracy International spigot, the BT70 M-LOK adaptor, or any 17S-size lever clamp such as the American Defense ADM-170-S.
Does the Atlas BT65-NC clamp directly to a Picatinny rail?
No — the BT65-NC has no clamp of its own and cannot attach to a Picatinny rail until a 17S-size mount is bolted to it; if you want it ready to use, choose the BT65 with the two-screw clamp or the BT65-LW17 with the ADM-170-S lever.
What is the mounting hole pattern on the Atlas BT65-NC?
The BT65-NC uses a 1.100 inch (27.9 mm) two-hole pattern with 10/32 threads, which is the 17S size, so any 17S-size mount will bolt straight to it.
What does CAL stand for on an Atlas bipod?
CAL stands for Cant And Loc, B&T's name for positive, lockable cant control that keeps the rifle level on uneven ground.
Can the Atlas BT65-NC be made ARCA compatible?
No Atlas bipod in this range is natively ARCA-Swiss, but the BT65-NC is the simplest to convert because it is supplied clamp-free — fit an ARCA clamp such as the Area 419 ARCALOCK clamp for Atlas bipods from our ARCA bipods and clamps collection.
What is in the box?
The box contains one Atlas BT65-NC CAL bipod with no clamp fitted, plus the 10-32 flat socket mount installation screws.
