The Burris Handgun Scope 2-7x32mm Ballistic Plex Posi-Lock Matte Black is a long-eye-relief handgun scope built for hunting handguns. Long eye relief is what defines the category: at 11–21 in at low power, 10–14 in at high, you can hold the pistol at arm's length and still get a full sight picture, well clear of recoil.
This model adds Posi-Lock. Posi-Lock mechanically locks the erector system in place once you have zeroed, pinning the internal assembly against shifting under the heavy recoil a hunting handgun generates. It is the single feature that separates this scope from the otherwise identical non-Posi-Lock version — see the standard 2-7x32mm Ballistic Plex.
The Ballistic Plex reticle is Burris's trajectory-compensating reticle, with holdover points giving trajectory compensation out to 500 yards. Waterproof and nitrogen-filled to prevent internal fogging, with a double internal spring-tension system that holds zero through shock, recoil and vibration. Backed by the Burris Signature Warranty.
