How It Compares
Amber is the middle option of the three lamp colours in this family: less strident than red, less tied to green backgrounds, and the easiest of the three on the eye in flat overcast light. The same triangle post is built with a green tip and a red tip. For a conventional crosshair on the same body, the 1-4x24 is also made with a standard duplex crosshair and an amber dot.
