The Primary Arms SLx 1X MicroPrismT Scope with the ACSS Cyclops Gen II reticle (part number 710079, SKU PA-SLX-1XMP-H-CYCLOPS) is a 1x unmagnified prism scope with a 17 mm objective and a glass-etched ACSS Cyclops Gen II reticle in red, built on the H1/T1 micro-dot footprint and supplied with a 2.26 in mount. It is 2.48 in (63 mm) long, weighs 5.5 oz (156 g), adjusts in 1 MOA clicks with 120 MOA of windage and elevation travel, gives a 76.5 ft field of view at 100 yards (25.5 m at 100 m), and is sealed to IP67 and nitrogen-purged.
This is the smallest and lightest prism in the Primary Arms range — close enough to a micro red dot in size and weight that most shooters would not tell them apart on the rifle. What separates it is that the reticle is etched into the glass rather than projected as an LED, which means shooters with astigmatism see a clean horseshoe and chevron instead of the smear or starburst a red dot produces, and the reticle remains usable with the illumination off or the battery flat.
Because it uses the H1/T1 footprint, it drops onto the very wide range of mounts already made for micro red dot sights, so an existing mount will very often carry it straight across.
How It Compares
This is the red-illuminated Cyclops Gen II version. The same optic is offered with green ACSS Cyclops Gen II illumination, with a simpler T-Dot reticle, and with the 9mm-specific ACSS Gemini 9mm reticle. For a larger window, near-unlimited eye relief and IP67 premium build, step up to the GLx 1X MicroPrism with the ACSS Cyclops reticle. For magnification, see the SLx 3X MicroPrism with the ACSS Raptor 5.56/.308 Yard reticle or the SLx 5X MicroPrism with the ACSS Aurora MIL reticle. Browse the Primary Arms prism scope range and all prism scopes, and read our guides to how prism scopes work and astigmatism and red dot sights.
Ideal For
- Shooters with astigmatism who want a micro-sized optic that stays sharp
- Practical shotgun and 3-Gun, where a light, fast 1x optic decides the stage
- Straight-pull AR-platform rifles and Civilian Service Rifle at close and medium range
- Anyone already owning an H1 or T1 pattern mount who wants to swap a red dot for a prism

Astigmatism: The etched reticle is resolved through the optic's own focusing system, so it stays sharp for eyes that see LED red dots as a smear
-
Footprint: H1/T1 micro-dot pattern, compatible with the wide range of mounts made for micro red dots, with a 2.26 in mount included
-
Illumination: Red, 13 settings of which 3 are night-vision compatible, with AutoLive motion sensing, from one CR2032 cell
-
Turrets: 1 MOA per click, 120 MOA of windage and elevation travel
-
Field of view: 76.5 ft at 100 yards (25.5 m at 100 m)
-
Size: 2.48 in (63 mm) long, 5.5 oz (156 g)

Frequently Asked Questions
Does a prism scope help with astigmatism?
Yes, for many shooters it does. A prism scope's reticle is etched into the glass and viewed through the optic's own focusing system, so it is resolved by the same corrected optical path as the target, whereas a red dot projects an LED that an astigmatic eye commonly sees as a smear, flare or double image.
What mount does the SLx 1X MicroPrismT need?
The SLx 1X MicroPrismT uses the H1/T1 micro-dot footprint, so it fits the wide range of mounts made for micro red dot sights, and a 2.26 in mount is supplied in the box.
What does the ACSS Cyclops Gen II reticle do?
The ACSS Cyclops Gen II combines a bold horseshoe that draws the eye quickly to the centre at close range with a precise centre aiming point and ranging features for estimating distance to a target of known size.
Does this optic work if the battery dies?
Yes. The ACSS Cyclops Gen II reticle is etched into the glass rather than projected, so it remains fully visible and usable with the illumination switched off or the battery flat.
How does the SLx 1X MicroPrismT compare with the GLx 1X MicroPrism?
The SLx 1X MicroPrismT is smaller and lighter at 2.48 inches and 5.5 ounces on the H1/T1 footprint, while the GLx 1X MicroPrism has a larger 20.5 mm window, near-unlimited eye relief and a higher specification overall.
Is the SLx 1X MicroPrismT waterproof?
The Primary Arms SLx 1X MicroPrismT is sealed to IP67 and nitrogen-purged, which protects it against dust ingress, temporary immersion in water and internal fogging.
